Guilin House & Car Festival

The 7th Guilin House and Car festival will be held during this years “Golden Week”, from 30th Sep. to 3rd Oct 2010 in Guilin’s Exhibition Center (next to the Nan Cheng Shopping Center). It is organized by the Guilin Government in conjunction with Guilin Daily Newspaper.


The exhibition is divided into 5 halls of which one is for real estate, one for decoration companies and the remaining three for cars.


The real estate hall is divided into three themes, famous construction companies, boutique housing and real estate in the newly developed areas around Lingui.


So if you’re looking for a bigger place or you want to spend some cash, this is the place for you to go. (If you don’t have a Chinese driving license, click here for instructions how to get one)

New Year: 1st January – 3rd January in total 3 days

Spring Festival:13th February – 19th february 2010, in total 7 days, 20th February (Saturday) and 21st February (Sunday) are working days

Qingming (memorial day of the deceased): 3rd April – 5th April 2010, in total 3 days

Labour Day: 1st May – 3rd May 2010, in total 3 days,

Dragon Boat Festival: 14th June – 16th June 2010, in total 3 days, 12th June (Saturday) and 13th June (Sunday) are working days

Mid Autum Festival: 22nd September – 24th September 2010, in total 3 days, 19th (Sunday) and 25th (Saturday) are working days

National Day: 1st October – 7th October 2010, in total 7 days, 26th September (Sunday) and 9th October (Saturday) are working days
